Each web site is run by a manager who has worked his way up through the web direct brands ranks. Each manager then teaches interns the day-to-day operations of their online store. Managers are responsible for everything from order fulfillment and customer service to marketing and site development and vendor relationships.
Web Direct Brands also has technical and marketing staff to assist all managers with project realization. During the first semester the intern will be assisting a manager with all aspects of work. If invited to return for a second semester, an intern may have the chance to develop their own start-up site. These sites are developed using the same principles and management as the existing, flourishing web direct brands e-tailers. Past the second semester, the opportunity exists for further development within the web direct brands team.

Brand Sales Manager
The brand sales manager overseas independent sales representatives for Web Direct Brands Inc. His/her primary responsibility is to recruit, coordinate, lead and motivate independent sales representatives throughout the continental U.S. while maintaining a unified brand identity.

They will work as a liaison between WDB management and independent sales representatives. Additionally, the Brand Sales Manager is to report product recommendations, trends and suggested improvements for product line/ brand identity. This self-motivating role is non-manual position and relates to general business operations. As an employee the brand sales manager duties includes exercising proper discretion and independent judgment on a daily basis for all significant matters.

This individual will be measured by his/her results in generating new profitable business including compiling a reliable sales team of independent representatives and producing clearly defined and agreed upon sales results. The brand sales manager will receive salary plus commission.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire successful independent sales representatives
  • Review contracts and territories
  • Judge performance of independent sales representatives, terminate contracts on an as needed basis
  • Provide training and manage activities to assure sales targets are met
  • Clearly & concisely report performance of independent sales representatives
  • Offer product recommendations, trends and suggested improvements
  • Maintain brand identity

Requirements:

  • 5 + years sales leadership experience
  • Proven track record of sales goals
  • Familiarity with the independent sales representative regime
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prompt e-mail driven communication
