Each web site is run by a manager who has worked his way up through the web direct brands ranks. Each manager then teaches interns the day-to-day operations of their online store. Managers are responsible for everything from order fulfillment and customer service to marketing and site development and vendor relationships.
Web Direct Brands also has technical and marketing staff to assist all managers with project realization. During the first semester the intern will be assisting a manager with all aspects of work. If invited to return for a second semester, an intern may have the chance to develop their own start-up site. These sites are developed using the same principles and management as the existing, flourishing web direct brands e-tailers. Past the second semester, the opportunity exists for further development within the web direct brands team.

Customer Service / Sales Representative
In the world of online retail, communication and speed is everything. Web Direct Brands, Inc. - a leading online retailer, is looking for an individual for a sales / customer service position that is fast paced and very detail oriented. The ideal candidate is very proficient with computers, both typing speed and navigation of computer programs. The individual should also be personable and able to handle stress in a healthy and calm manner. Additionally they should be very proactive in terms of customer communication. In a typical day for a Web Direct Brands, Inc Sales / Customer service rep you may do the follow:
  • Answer inbound support calls. This could be general product questions, shipping inquires, refund requests, etc.
  • Answer inbound sales calls. They are typically lengthy where they are looking for us to be the expert on the product and explain the ins and outs of the purchase.
  • Review sales order information for accuracy / directly input sales order information.
  • Create purchase orders and create 3rd party shipments through UPS and Fed Ex
  • Pull products from the shelf and put on the shipping line for packing by the shipping department.
  • Answer customer questions through website LiveChat service
  • Answer many customer emails, direct customer inquires and general website email inquiries
  • Call vendors for tracking numbers and update customers through email and phone as to back orders, order changes, etc.
The position is fulltime, 40 hours a week, hourly / commission, fixed amount health reimbursement and discounted vision / dental programs available after 90 days. Office hours you may be required to work are between 8am and 7pm M-F and 9am to 5 pm Saturday. Please fill out our online application found at:
