Each web site is run by a manager who has worked his way up through
the web direct brands ranks. Each manager then teaches interns the day-to-day operations
of their online store. Managers are responsible for everything from order fulfillment
and customer service to marketing and site development and vendor relationships.
Web Direct Brands also has technical and marketing staff to assist
all managers with project realization. During the first semester the intern will
be assisting a manager with all aspects of work. If invited to return for a second
semester, an intern may have the chance to develop their own start-up site. These
sites are developed using the same principles and management as the existing, flourishing
web direct brands e-tailers. Past the second semester, the opportunity exists for
further development within the web direct brands team.
Gate Manufacturing Division Manager's Assistant
The Gate Manufacturing Division Manager's Assistant is a full-time position. The Manager's Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Gate Manufacturing Division Manager by answering inbound customer e-mail communication, processing payments, creating shipment labels, organizing and maintaining records, and assisting customers via inbound telephone support. The applicant should be an energetic and dynamic individual who has solid verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong customer service skills.
Assistant will be using the following programs, experience not required to apply however please specify if you do have experience with the programs:
Quickbooks
Fed Ex Freight software
Google docs
